The story is about Babar the elephant and his journey from his mother being shot out from under him and killed by a hunter, his run to the city where he meets the old woman and then how he wears clothes and acts like a human. Interior unmarked with only very very slight soiling, A few pages beginning to split, lacking the elusive rare envelope-style dustjacket.
