About this deal

With spirited illustrations, this book is a warm, funny celebration of the special bond between father and child.

His inspiration for Me and My Dad came partly from his love for the little corner of Southeast London where he grew up and now lives and works. Unfortunately, we have had to suspend international parcels during the current COVID19 situation but hope to resume this service as soon as we can. It's a lovely book, beautiful illustrations and great for teaching rhyming words if you're little one is eager to learn new sounds whilst learning to read. I can't believe this is a New York Times bestseller when me and my friend Kyle did a similar project years ago and we didn't make a nickel on it!He says how strong he is, how tall he is, how he comforts him, and how he tells the best bedtime stories. Bedtime is a special reading time so I bought this book for Dad to read when she's all snuggled up in bed with her own teddies.

It is not often that my partner has tears in his eyes, but when he read this 'from' our little baby boy, he was struggling to hold back the tears! When Archie sees a colourful, crumpled flyer fall out of Dad's pocket, he thinks he may have found the answer. We now offset all the carbon emissions of our team’s personal and professional lives by planting groves of trees. This book celebrates so many things - the love of a dad and child, the excitement generated by the imagination. Throughout, it's obvious that Dad is a hero to his son for his strength, dependability, knowledge of forest secrets and for the security and fun that he brings to his child's life. It's one of those sentimental bedtime reads that celebrate the bond between parent and child--the one thing standing out about this one being that it's focused on dad, instead of the more common "mommy" books. Ashley is obsessed with her social standing at her own school, devastated by her dad moving out because he's gay. This is a sweet and simple story told in rhyme from a baby bear cub's point of view about all the things he loves to do with his dad: "When it's raining my dad plays a staying-dry trick - To dodge all the raindrops we have to be quick! I've read it plenty of times already to my kids and like to change and add parts to see if they're paying attention. My father died about 30 years back, so this book was a painful yet joyful trip thru memory lane when I had a dad that treated me as well as he could, my mom's claims of his infidelity notwithstanding.

this is an utterly enchanting read and one of the very best father and child books I've seen in a long time.Think this book helps to open up discussion (as long as you are aware of students’ home lives) about figures who nurture and care and play with you.
