I can't believe this is a New York Times bestseller when me and my friend Kyle did a similar project years ago and we didn't make a nickel on it!He says how strong he is, how tall he is, how he comforts him, and how he tells the best bedtime stories. Bedtime is a special reading time so I bought this book for Dad to read when she's all snuggled up in bed with her own teddies.

I've read it plenty of times already to my kids and like to change and add parts to see if they're paying attention. My father died about 30 years back, so this book was a painful yet joyful trip thru memory lane when I had a dad that treated me as well as he could, my mom's claims of his infidelity notwithstanding.

this is an utterly enchanting read and one of the very best father and child books I've seen in a long time.Think this book helps to open up discussion (as long as you are aware of students’ home lives) about figures who nurture and care and play with you.
