I felt for Rose immensely. One mistake at a young age had such devastating consequences. She desperately tries to cope and deal with loss, grief and guilt in any way she can in a world that has made her so unbelievably scared. And yet, she somehow digs deep and finds the determination to finally know the truth about her brother’s death. Even if it means facing her worst nightmare.

Earlier this year I had the extreme pleasure of reading The Deal by Elle Kennedy ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...). I blatantly stated my admiration of how she took a genre, New Adult, and made it work for someone who usually doesn't gravitate to it. I went on to talk about how she used all of her talents to make her characters not whine or manipulate to get what they wanted and just "manned up" time and time again. I was so happy about this book I begged all of my friends and anyone who would listen to read it. Her then 8-year-old brother went missing. He was grabbed in the bushes and smothered to death. Rose has always felt guilty about his death ... about bringing this human monster into all their lives. With T&M having last year put out a superb split 7” single featuring a Mistakes song adorned by Charlie Harper’s vocals, it now feels like destiny that this wonderful band, one of the Subs-singer’s favourites, have now teamed up with our label… Rose Tinsley, who's lived in Newstead all her life, is the librarian at the Newstead Library - one of the smallest in Nottinghamshire County. To sum up, if you're looking for something cute, light, heart-warming, swoon worthy and sexy, this one will do it for you. Highly recommend! A tense mystery thriller that had me completely engrossed. An unputdownable and compulsive read and a must for crime fans. K.L. Slater sure knows what she's doing when writing a psychological thriller. I'm sure whatever she comes up with next will be just as good and I will definitely be grabbing a copy. Rose’s story is told through the past and present and we learn of “The Mistake” she made and the guilt she carries. We could feel the weight of guilt and the loss that she carried allowing us to question “The Mistake” for ourselves. We recommend this with caution as some readers could find it upsetting.

Logan apologises for leaving so abruptly the other night. He is determined to make up to her and the two of them get it on again.Rene Bouscatel, president of France’s top league the Top 14, said: “It’s a question that only concerns those at the club and Bernard. It’s their business. I respect him on a sporting level, but it’s their business. In French law you’re innocent until proven guilty. We can think whatever we want but that’s what it is. Eight-year-old Billy goes missing one day, out flying his kite with his sister Rose. Two days later, he is found dead. Which ones do you trust, all of them? None of them or some of them? So how do you know that any potential boyfriend is going to turn out to be good or bad. Its a danger we all can fall into.

Watch out for lots of posts from both us, and the band, in the run up to their stunning new album…" One day, Logan walks into Grace’s room by accident and the 2 hit it off. He leaves very abruptly after he orgasms and she tells him he gets there… but she doesn’t. On a squash court in Chicago a dazzling scientific experiment takes place, which three years later will destroy a city and change the world – forever. DURING YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION WITH LOGAN YOU COMPARED HIM TO THE INFAMOUS SERIAL KILL, TED BUNDY. WERE YOU NERVOUS AND THAT'S WHY YOU STARTED RAMBLING ON ABOUT RANDOM STUFF? First, most of the story is told from Rose's point of view, in a 'step-by-step' format. I have a problem with this kind of narrative, which tends to be circumscribed and slow-moving.By the way - the Edinburgh and London runs were paid for out of my own funds plus crowdfunding and supporters' donations from a previous appeal. I was unpaid throughout, but made sure my colleagues were paid. Similarly now, with the Arts Council's decision, I will once again be unpaid - but I will ensure my colleagues are paid and that all other costs are met. Some of you will have contributed previously - I don't expect you to do so again, but passing this on to someone who might would be really helpful. Grace is a freshman at the University and is the daughter of a professor. She is a virgin and it’s a big deal. I was genuinely blown away by this production. It received one of the very few standing ovations I have seen at the Edinburgh Fringe. A dramatic treat.' (UK THEATRE WEB) The Mistake is my second book by Ms. Kennedy and I’m anticipating more books in the Off-Campus series.

This one built up tension rather slowly for me, the suspense not as much as I would've liked to have seen for a book categorised as a psychological thriller. This story led me in a different direction and is far deeper than I was led to believe by the somewhat misleading blurb. The Ivers family practically founded Massachusetts, and we've got some Scottish and Irish roots, I think. Choose one team (‘Team A’). Ask them: 'What’s the mistake?' They should give their answer. Ask the class whether they agree.
