About this deal

Is your Air Conditioning blowing warm air? It's likely that you need an Air Conditioning Regas, also known as a Recharge. Wear safety goggles and gloves when working on AC systems. Never wear loose clothing around running engines.

Never allow refrigerant to leak out into the atmosphere. If the refrigerant reservoir or air-conditioning system is opened, its contents will escape under high pressure. The extent of the pressure depends on the temperature. The higher the temperature, the higher the pressure.Permanently seals refrigerant Gas leaks both in metal and rubber components of A/C and Refrigeration systems Just like cars that run on petrol and diesel, both electric vehicles and hybrids will also require the air con system recharged when the refrigerant gas in the air con system needs replacing. Otherwise, the air con system in your vehicle will not operate effectively and will start to blow warm air. Items that are not obviously damaged but do not appear to work correctly must be returned to base for inspection, report and rectification. As well as keeping your car cool in the summer and the windscreen de-misted in the winter, using your air-con regularly will also help it operate as efficiently as possible. However, these systems are not designed to last forever without upkeep.

All of our services are provided by our fully qualified, trained engineers specialising in air con recharge (regas), servicing, parts fitting, fault diagnosis, and repair of your car, van, and agricultural vehicles throughout the UK. In fact, proactive maintenance of the air conditioning system is even more important here as the air con system in electric cars is also used for thermal management, that is, the cooling of components including the batteries and electric motors, which can become very hot with extended use. By cooling the battery, the air conditioning system supports effective charging processes and contributes significantly to the vehicle's performance and battery life. So regular air con maintenance is no longer just for comfort. Air-con recharge or re-gas is the removing the old refrigerant gas from your air conditioning system and replacing it with new refrigerant gas, so that your vehicles air conditioning runs cold and efficient again. There are still numerous vehicles on the market with air-conditioning systems originally designed for refrigerant R12. 2001 marked the official final end of R12 in vehicle air-conditioning systems. Ever since then, R12 systems had to be converted during maintenance or repair work. R134a was and is used as replacement refrigerant besides several "drop-in" refrigerants (refrigerant mixtures). R134a has a high GWP (global warming potential) of 1430. With the current EC Directive 2006/40/EC it was decided to only use refrigerants with a GWP of less than 150 in the future.

Why does it stop working?

Our cans are sized for an average car that is low on but not empty of coolant. Refer to vehicle data for system capacity as some vehicles may require more than one can. Use gauge or weights to ensure correct fill. Our combined Air Conditioning Regas Antibacterial Clean is ideal if your Air Conditioning has stopped performing at it's best. I've had a couple of older cars that have definitely needed this and the results have been good but it was anything but a "refresh", definitely more of a "fumigation" job Our process will ensure that your air conditioning system is working to its full potential. However, if our technicians find that the De-Mist has had no impact on the air conditioning temperature then the service will be FREE of charge.
