About this deal

Code: make ARCH=x86_64 CROSS_COMPILE= -C /lib/modules/4.9.0-kali 3-amd64/build M=/root/rtl8812au modules Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0bda:8812 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8812AU 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN Adapter Get:6 http://kali.mirror.globo.tech/kali kali-rolling/main amd64 linux-headers-amd64 amd64 4.9+80+kali1 [6,352 B] I did everything listed. It keeps telling me “module build for kernel 4.9.0-Kali3-amd64 was skipped since the kernel headers for this kernel does not seem to be installed” any ideas? I do all the iptables and masquerades, but after restart the interface vanishes and im unable to see it again

Everything seem fine, but after completing all the steps and restarting there is no longer wifi1 interface listed under ifconfig.. then do airodump-ng wlan1 --bssid --channel I got the driver working with injection on an older Kali distro. But guess what, the new Kali release, comes til Linux 4.9.0 kali4 headers, and the installation of the driver asks for kali3 headers so it doesn't install properly.Don't know why that should happen unless you updated the kernel version. If you did you will need to install an updated version of the wifi driver. Just run the install-wifi script again to update the wifi driver.
