About this deal

They managed to get along mainly due to the man’s ability to carry a conversation longer than a few sentences, even with someone like Jake. The fact that Jake wasn’t the type to create problems in the office, but only deliver reliable results, naturally only made their relationship easier for both sides. if anyone reads this and still plays i have a growing group chat on steam with 32 members that play regularly. we say on this server when we play so everyone gets to hunt. add me on steam to join Which was also the reason why Jake agreed on going to lunch. Because with Jacob along, he knew it wouldn’t be entirely awkward. Jake had worked in this office for a bit over two years now. His job was what many would describe as boring, yet he somehow found it peaceful to immerse himself in the spreadsheets, financial reports, and whatnot. He worked in the financial department, and if he said so himself, he was rather good at what he did.

After the far too long conversation about inane subjects with her, the arrival of the elevator finally saved him, allowing his escape as he headed on up to the 14th floor. The plot is nothing special, though, at least it's coherent and sometimes even entertaining on occasion. Pretty typical in quality and tropes/cliches for a litrpg novel. However, there is far, far too much. Half of the content here is complete filler/fluff. Every choice he makes and every action he takes is explained in excruciating detail, so much so that I had to skim a lot of scenes. Jake discovered that hunting Counts of Blood for their key was required for the untold middle stage. Other factions also hunted Counts; Jake lost the bet against the Sword Saint. I think just about everyone here has heard of The Primal Hunter. It's one of the largest novels on RoyalRoad, but I managed to hold off on reading it until it came out on Kindle Unlimited. His handsome looks, tall stature, and overall charm certainly did him no harm when it came to the women in the office. His hair always seemed to sit impossibly perfect, his suit always worn perfectly, and what seemed like an eternal relaxed smile adorning his face. The world had changed when things reached a threshold no one knew existed as humanity has to be integrated into the vast multiverse. It is a new world where the only thing one could rely on was power. Level 70: [Limit Break (Rare)] – Sometimes, one needs to go above and beyond. Break your limits, temporarily increasing the effect of all stats at the cost of increased stamina consumption. Increase by up to 10% for double stamina consumption. Increase by up to 20% for quadruple stamina consumption, with the Hunter afterward entering a state of weakness based on Limit Break duration and magnitude. Increasing by more than 20% will lead to severe consequences. Ball2:Lonesome wulf. Even Jesus had 12 disciples, and while a lonesome wulf is easy to write, it can be a pitfall. But honestly I would not look for 12 disciples, I have never seen it work,I would look for people like Gilgamesh. The greatest eternal king. Dyonysus, in some accounts one of the few mortals ascended to godhood. Descending Dark Arcane Fang (Rare)] ——> [Piercing Cursed Arcane Fang (Epic)] – A fang born from darkness, now having embraced the power of curses, kept in control by the Hunter’s arcane mana. Infuse your weapon with a mixture of curse energy and arcane energy as you do a thrusting strike, significantly increasing penetrative power and damage done. The curse energy will linger in any created wounds, the effect dependent on the nature of the curse energy applied. Arcane mana creates a powerful coating and extends the edge while keeping the curse energy contained. Significantly more powerful when used with Eternal Hunger. Damage improved further if the weapon is benefitting from Fang of Man. Adds a bonus to the effect of Agility, Strength, and Intelligence when using Piercing Cursed Arcane Fang. His appearance unlike most other humans does not change much except ironing out his existing features throughout the story.

But outside of those minor things, this is a remarkably fun story. The MC isn't near as stupid as a lot of them (outside of his let's just throw all my stats into perception, then cry about people who only focus on 1 or 2 stats....). The gear is handled decently, and it's good to see the author finding ways to keep the MC in clothing instead of running around for 200 chapters in bloody ragged clothing. The abilities are fun for the most part, I like how a lot of that is handled, even if I think that the MC passes over a lot of skills and powers that I think would have been better choices (I know, not my story but I'm still entilted to my opinion.). The characters outside of the idiots in the introduction are pretty good, way to many of the people in the beginning of the story seemed to be focused around the authors views on someone being a Psychopath, or a Sociopath and from my own experiences he missed out on some VERY important key parts of their personalities. /shrug but oh their dead so it's not really an issue anymore. Jake was first to claim a Pylon. With survivors like Miranda, and Neil’s group populating his small city, Jake focused mostly on his own personal strength by facing stronger opponents around his city and dungeons below. He also made friends with D-Rank hawks: Hawkie, Mystie and Sylphie.Jake is the Viper's chosen, the holder of his True Blessing. The Viper considers Jake a good friend. He appears to be curious about Jake's bloodline. Walking down the stairs to his car, he had an intuition that the day was going to be interesting. He didn’t know why as everything was as usual so far, but he couldn’t entirely dispel the feeling. Maybe someone brought donuts? During the integration of the 93rd universe, Jake Thayne is able to enter the Viper's divine realm through a challenge dungeon created in the first era. Jake encourages the Viper to not give up on life, leading the Viper to grant him a True Blessing, and shortly after, exit his divine realm.

Level 100: [Big Game Hunter (Rare)] ——> [Big Game Arcane Hunter (Epic)] – A true hunter seeks not the easy prey but a true challenge. Your hunt has taken you further than ever before as your methods improve, and you have embraced the arcane. The Avaricious Arcane Hunter has, through his many hunts, become more accustomed to facing higher-level enemies. Increases the user’s resistance to auras and gives a small increase to Strength, Agility, Intelligence and Willpower while facing enemies above your class or race level. The bonus is based on the disparity between the level of your prey and you. Limit of 1.25x your level or 50 levels, whichever is highest. May your hunt be fruitful, and your Avarice sated.

The main character, Jake, is in my opinion an enjoyable protagonist. He's cunning, creative, and in my opinion rather funny. I especially enjoy his relationships with the other characters, as it is fun and interesting to see how people react to his MC shenanigans. Facing the D-Rank Unique entity called the King of the Forest, Jake gave everything and at the end the King met its demise by his Bloodline.
